Sound familiar?

If you're reading this, I'd guess some of it sounds familiar

And underneath it: you are not short of ability. You are short of a shape. Something specific enough to tell someone about, and specific enough that they can say yes to it.

"You are not short of ability.
You are short of a shape."

That's what these four weeks are for.

What it actually is

Four weeks. Four conversations. One offer, finished.

This is a small live group — twelve women, no more — that meets once a week for four weeks. Seventy-five minutes each time. You'll be on camera with me and with each other, and you'll do the work in the session rather than saving it for a week that never comes.

There is nothing to catch up on. No content library. No app. A workbook, four calls, and by the end of week four you will have written down, in your own words:

That's it. That's the whole promise, and it's deliberately narrow.

The four weeks

Here's what we do

Week one

The thing you actually know

Not your job title. The specific problem you've solved a hundred times that other people find hard. We'll find it, and we'll test whether anyone would pay for it before you build anything around it.

You leave with: one idea, chosen, with a reason.
Week two

The one woman

Everything gets easier when you stop marketing to everyone. We'll build one real person in detail — what she's tried, what she's afraid of, what she'd type into Google at eleven at night.

You leave with: one described person you could pick out of a room.
Week three

The offer and the number

What she gets, how it's structured, what it's called, and what it costs. We'll practise saying the price until it stops feeling like an apology.

You leave with: a named offer and a price.
Week four

The first ten conversations

Who you already know. What you say. When you follow up. This is the week most programs skip and it's the one that produces clients.

You leave with: ten names, ten messages, and a date next to each.
Who you'd be working with

I'm Doralee — and I needed this before there was anyone to ask

In my last marriage, I started seeing the red flags. I looked at my daughter, who was in her early teens, and I understood that I needed a way to protect us both. What I needed was to work from home — and this was the nineties. Working from home wasn't really a thing yet.

So I looked at what was in front of me. Multi-level marketing was everywhere, and I knew I didn't want to spend my life chasing new people — and honestly, I didn't know how to make it work anyway. I tried working from home for my employer instead, but back then that meant paper files, pickups and drop-offs, and it turned into a mess.

Then one day it was obvious: the work-from-home arrangement was never going to hold, and waiting for my life to stabilise was not a plan. I needed something I controlled.

So I stopped looking outward and looked at what I was already doing well. Bookkeeping. Learned hands-on, and I'd taught myself QuickBooks. And I started asking a different question — what if I built something real around this?

That's when it clicked, and it wasn't what I expected. I wasn't just a bookkeeper. I had been managing complexity for years. My real estate developer clients opened a new LLC for every project, and I was reconciling twenty-seven bank accounts every single month. If I could hold that, I could hold my own clients.

I started my bookkeeping and accounting firm in January 2000. By the time the divorce was on the horizon, I had enough clients to support my daughter and me. That business still supports me today.

"I looked outside myself for two years for a business. It was in my hands the whole time."

I'm telling you this because of the part in the middle. For two years I was looking for something to do — a program, an opportunity, a thing other people were doing. The answer was already in my hands and I couldn't see it, because I'd been doing it so long it didn't look like anything.

Almost nothing that stopped me was a skills problem. It was not knowing what to sell, and then not being willing to charge properly for it.

Now I help women 50-plus — in divorce, in widowhood, in the empty-nest years — start and run something of their own. These four weeks are where that starts: we find the thing that's already in your hands, and we give it a shape and a price.

You don't need to have everything figured out to begin.

Questions

Questions I'm usually asked

I'm not sure I'm technical enough.

There is no technology in this. Four video calls and a workbook you can print. If you can join a call, you can do this.

What if I don't know what my idea is yet?

Then week one is exactly where you should be. Most women arrive with three half-ideas, not none — the work is choosing, not inventing.

I'm 61 / 67 / 72. Is it too late?

No. The women who do best in this work are the ones with the most behind them, because experience is the raw material. What's late is spending another year deciding.

Will you try to sell me something bigger?

I'll tell you honestly: I do run a longer program, and if it's right for you I'll say so at the end. It is not the point of these four weeks, and you will get the full four weeks whether or not you ever want anything else from me.

What if I can't make one of the sessions?

Come to the other three and watch the recording. If you know now you can only make two, wait for the next group — this only works if you're in the room.

The close

One decision, and it's a small one

You've been thinking about this for a while. Possibly years.

Four weeks from now you could still be thinking about it — or you could have an offer, a price, and ten people to talk to. That's not a transformation. It's just a beginning, and a beginning is the only thing that's ever been missing.

You don't need to have everything figured out to begin.
